Gyan Parampara: Carrying Forward India’s Timeless Wisdom

We are delighted to share that Dr. POOJA PARMAR, Faculty, Manav Rachna School of Education & Humanities, Manav Rachna University, represented the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Centre, Manav Rachna University at the HSHEC Workshop on Bharatiya Gyan Parampara (Indian Knowledge System – IKS) organised by Kurukshetra University.

The workshop, conducted under the guidance of the Haryana State Higher Education Council (HSHEC) as part of the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, brought together academicians and subject experts from higher education institutions across Haryana. The objective was to collaboratively develop authentic academic content rooted in Bharatiya Gyan Parampara, fostering the integration of India's rich knowledge traditions into higher education curricula.

Dr. Parmar actively participated in the deliberations, contributing to meaningful discussions on incorporating Indian Knowledge Systems into teaching, learning, and research. Her participation reflects Manav Rachna University's continued commitment to promoting India's intellectual heritage, interdisciplinary scholarship, and the transformative vision of NEP 2020.
