Day 1 of FDP at SoEH, MRU

The School of Education & Humanities, Manav Rachna University, kick-started Day 1 of its Faculty Development Programme with an inspiring and deeply reflective session by Dr. Rachel Toncelli.

In a world where AI is reshaping learning at lightning speed, Dr. Rachel reminded us of something profoundly important:

True teaching begins with presence, empathy, and human connection.

Her powerful message that teaching is, above all, a human connection, set the tone for a deeply reflective conversation on AI, pedagogical presence, transparency, and the future of learning. From rethinking why students turn to AI, to co-creating classroom guidelines, to strengthening critical AI literacy, today’s session empowered educators to engage with AI thoughtfully while keeping humanity at the center of teaching.

We extend our sincere gratitude to:

Dr. Rachel Toncelli, EdD for a wonderful and interactive session

(Prof) Dr. Deependra Kumar Jha, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, MRU

(Prof) Dr. Sangita Banga, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MRU

Ms Rashima Vaid Varma, Dean, SoEH

(Prof) Dr Rashee Singh, Head of Department, SoEH

And to all our dedicated faculty members and participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm.
