At Manav Rachna University, we marked International English Day with an insightful expert talk on “Relevance of William Shakespeare in Contemporary Time” by the esteemed Prof. (Dr.) Parmod Kumar Mehra from IGNOU, New Delhi.

The event, organized by the School of Education and Humanities, brought together 57 enthusiastic students for a journey through soliloquies, cinematic connections like Maqbool and Haider, and a lively quiz that brought Shakespeare’s legacy to life!

From exploring gender narratives to decoding Hamlet’s mind—students engaged, questioned, and reflected deeply on why the Bard still matters.
