Under the esteemed Leadership Talk Series, the School of Education and Humanities, in collaboration with the Office of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Manav Rachna University, had the privilege of hosting an enriching session on “Becoming Interview-Ready: School Leadership Expectations for 21st-Century Teachers” led by Ms. Sanyogita Sharma, Director, MRIS.

With her vast experience in school leadership, Ms. Sharma offered invaluable insights into what progressive schools truly seek in teachers—clarity, confidence, communication, and a deep sense of purpose. Her guidance on interview etiquette, professional behaviour, and aligning one’s teaching philosophy with school culture provided our B.Ed. Sem III and Integrated B.A/ B.Sc.B.Ed. Sem VII students with a clear roadmap for entering the teaching profession with confidence.

From understanding classroom expectations to embracing a growth mindset, the session beautifully bridged the gap between pre-service training and the real-world demands of school environments. Students also gained crucial perspectives on internship preparedness and the importance of professionalism, adaptability, and reflective practice.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms. sanyogita sharma for her wisdom and inspiration. We also extend our sincere gratitude to Ms. Rashima Vaid Varma, Dean, SoEH MRU, Prof. (Dr.) Rashee Singh, Head, SoEH MRU and Dr. Mira Mishra for organizing this powerful event and creating a truly transformative learning opportunity.
